This Privacy Policy explains how Alethos Technologies (OPC) Private Limited, operator of StockSense AI (“we”, “us”), collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use stocksenseai.in and our applications (the “Service”). We process personal data in accordance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable law.
1. Data we collect
- Account information — your name and email address, obtained through Google sign-in (Firebase Authentication), and your role/profile within the Service.
- Portfolio data you provide — holdings, transactions, and notes you save or upload (for example, equity and mutual-fund holdings). This is stored encrypted at rest and used to generate your analytics.
- Usage data — features used, reports generated, and technical logs (such as device/browser and IP) needed to run and secure the Service.
- Payment data — handled by our third-party payment gateway; we do not store your full card or bank details on our servers.
2. How we use your data
- To provide the Service — authenticate you, generate reports and analytics, and save your portfolio.
- To send transactional and, where you have opted in, informational emails (for example, portfolio digests). Every such email has a one-click unsubscribe.
- To secure, maintain, and improve the Service, and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
3. AI and automated processing
Report generation and explanatory features use automated and AI-assisted processing. Prompts sent to AI providers are centred on securities, funds, and market data. Where a feature uses your portfolio context, only the data needed for that output is processed, and your stored holdings remain encrypted at rest in our systems. Outputs are descriptive research aids and are not investment advice.
4. Service providers we share data with
We share limited data with processors who help us run the Service, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations:

6. Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymise it, unless a longer period is required by law.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent for optional processing (such as marketing or digest emails) at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, and to keep you signed in. We do not use them for third-party advertising.
